Another Prayer for The Crossover Alliance

As the Kickstarter for The Crossover Alliance moves toward its end, I wanted to share another prayer I offered to our group a week back (David N. Alderman, Mark Carver, Jess Hanna, and Peter Younghusband).

Join me:

Lord,
Master,
The voyage is long,
the waves high,
the storms pitiless.
But our helm is held steady,
You word secures safe passage, Your grace leads us onward,
our haven is guaranteed.

You know the outcome of our journey.
If we see success, may we praise your name.
If we see failure, may we hold fast to the victory
already accomplished by Christ's blood.

We repent of our sins.
And we ask that your will be done.
If we achieve our goals,
may everyone see it has come from your hand.
If we do not,
may we trust you have higher purposes.

But for now,
as we await the Dawn,
and live in these times of uncertainty,
we ask in the Name of Jesus for your favor.

We desire to glorify you through these stories.
But we cannot even do this apart from you.

Take our plans, Lord.
Master.
Do with them, what you will.
May we bring glory to your Name.

O Lord, Protect us in the moving sea until we reach the shore of unceasing praise.

By the Passion of our Saviour,
By the Blood of the Lamb of God,
In the Name that is above every name
we pray
in Jesus' Name.
