Star Trek. It has more content to enjoy (at least in the "moving picture" sense). It is older. It has more characters for people to identify with. It has more positive male and female heroes. It has more realistic heroes. I grew up watching it as a kid and it challenged, engaged and informed my intellectual, historical, philosophical and theoretical knowledge base. Star Wars just engaged my desire to run around and hit my brothers with sticks in the back yard.
